Can't believe it's been 2 years since I wrote that welcome post, which means I've been putting blogging off for ages (seriously where has time gone)! Anywho, let's dive right into the swatches and some my thought on the Natasha Denona eyeshadow palette in #02!

I purchased mine from beautylish back in March and the moment I swatched them on the back of my hand, I was in awe. I've never felt anything so soft and so buttery like these eyeshadows. I've heard so many people raving about them and I thought they could be overly hyped up, and to be frank, I was quite impressed with the packaging of this palette. I first saw the Palette 28 and the packaging (just everything about it) looks AMAZING. Didn't know they do a 5-pan palette until I visited the beautylish site and I just knew I have to give it a shot (and I've also purchased a single pan shadow, Satin Skin, it's a stunner).

I posted this swatch photo on my Instagram (@beautloves) a few days ago but the resolution of Insta is so low that they just don't do these eyeshadows any justice. My favourite out of the bunch has to be Shell and Lavender Gray. Shell (64V) is a velvet/ matte finish that is SOOOO creamy and soft. It's not chalky at all and it blends out so evenly. Dare I say it's even softer and more blendable than the makeupgeek ones. Onto Lavender Gray (40M), it's a metallic finish and holy moly it's so buttery and it's a unique shade in my eyeshadow collection (not that I have many). It's kind of like a taupe-y shade with a hint of purple undertone in it. Another one of my favourites from her eyeshadow range is Satin Skin (75P). It is easily one of my top 5 eyeshadows and it looks kind of bronzy taupe in the pan, but when it's swatched, it gives a very stunning pearly, iridescent finish with a hint of soft pink in it. It may look similar to MAC's woodwinked in the pan but it definitely leans more towards to the gold spectrum.

If you haven't tried Natasha Denona eyeshadows already, YOU HAVE TO! They are really stunning both in the pan and on the eyes. The quality of her eyeshadows are top-notch and even the metallic ones are SO creamy and smooth. Their pigmentation is no joke and I cannot say enough good things about them (except for the
Ps. Her Palette 28 retails for US$239, Palette 5 retails for US$48, mono eyeshadow retails for US$29
Hope this post helps!
